Comma animation.

Last week we had to make an animation, poster or slide show about how to use commas in your writing. We had two lessons as a whole class teaching us about where commas go in sentences for different reasons, and then we had to do this create task to display our new learning. I decided to do an animation with Frances. Here's mine below.

Next time to improve on my animation I could of made it a bit more interesting. 

My favourite part was looking at some cartoon streets because there was so many to choose from.

My least favourite part was adding in where the commas go because I couldn't think of a sentence.

Today we had Whaea Donna in our class, we did a fun activity where we had to follow instructions that our buddy gave us, my buddy was Caleb. The instructions were to instruct your buddy on how to create an image out of different shapes. In the end it make a picture.

Here's mine below.

Next time to improve on my work I could improve on giving my instructions so Caleb could create the picture more accurately.

My favourite part was adding in the slide because I like embedding slides to a blog post.

My least favourite part was making our own one because it took forever.

 I.A.L.T upload my art to my blog and write about it.

Yesterday with Mrs Hall we did a nature art task, we had to choose something that is some kind of nature.  Some people chose a Paua shell, Muscle shell, Nikau palm, Pohutukawa and a Cabbage Tree. I chose a Nikau palm because my cat's name is Nikau. Once we had chosen our tree or nature item, we sketched it onto black card and then coloured it in with colouring pencils.

Next time I could improve on my pattern down the bottom.

My favourite part was colouring the Nikau palm in because the blending was fun.

My least favourite part was drawing the Nikau palm because it took so long.

Artist fact file

W.A.L.T upload a task to our blog and write about it.

This week we finished our fact file that we started last week, I chose Johnny Depp because he does really good art work and he is my favourite actor, I did this task with Caleb.

We had to add in Personal info,What sort of art he does,What do he do in their spare time and What inspires is at work.

Next time to improve on my fact file I could of changed the font.

My favourite part was looking to find his art work because it was cool to see what he does.

My least favourite part was writing it because it took to long.

Descriptive writing plan.

I.A.L.T upload my writing task to my blog and write about it.

Last week we started learning about descriptive writing. For this task we got given a plan, on this plan we had to fill in columns of nouns, adjectives, verbs or adverbs and where. After we filled in those we had to write a new exciting sentence using some words in the columns.

Next time to improve on my writing I could of made it a bit neater.

My favourite part was adding the words because there were so many in my head to choose from.

My least favourite part was writing the sentence because it took too long.
